Our Physiotherapists
We aim to enhance and restore your functional health and mobility following injury or illness through the provision of safe, effective 'hands on' treatment using best-practice physiotherapy techniques.
Our Physiotherapists can:
-
Optimise your return to sports after injury and enhance your sporting performance and sports technique
-
Resolve chronic pain and prevent further injury
-
Increase your flexibility, muscle control and strength
-
Teach you how to best manage arthritic aches and pains
-
Provide education on how to self-manage your condition
In addition they are experts in movement analysis and exercise prescription. A Physiotherapist has completed at least four years of university studies and has a comprehensive knowledge of anatomy, bio-mechanics, physiology, crisis management, assessment and treatment of joint and muscle conditions.
An APA Titled (Sports and/or Musculoskeletal) Physiotherapist has undertaken further studies specifically in the management of injury. They have undergone a rigorous selection process to ensure they have the level of experience and knowledge to be awarded the title.
Today the title of APA Sports or Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist serves as the professional mark of expertise and distinction for physiotherapists.
